Problem with Locals

Recently when i change to local channels on my dvr receiver it is other channels than what suppose to be. I have to reset the receiver to get them back. My other receiver is ok. Any ideas why this happens.

so like you turn to fox and you get tnt or something? receiver is not reading multiswitch correctly or multiswitch itself is failing. try to reprogram sat setup in the receiver, just reselect the same things (or if it's wrong, change it accordingly) see if that does anything.

when i turn it to nbc it is we tv and cbs is a ppv channel. I reset the receiver see how long it lasts.
