DIRECTTV 2 PC Question

Has anyone been able to move recorded programs from their DVR to their computer in order to free up space on their DVR hard drive?

I tried to accomplish this via Directtv2pc but could not get it to deliver the wanted results.

Any suggestions?

As far as I'm aware there is no way to do that currently.

There are several ways to do it...but it's not "easy" and will require the purchase of additional hardware/software. It's going to require playing the show and allowing the PC to record it...as there is no way (that I know of) to do direct file transfers that would be viewable on a PC.
