I'm relatively happy with E*, but dreamt last night that I switched to D* and got two DirectTiVos. The fact that I still have 6 months on my agreement for the $199 508 seemed to be a non issue :D
How should I take this dream? Is this a sign from Rupert??? :p

Well, I've had all sorts of upgrades to my Dishplayer in my dreams, adding all sorts of new features to it, such as one time I dreamed that they added fractional and negative channel numbers, and had many channels not in the guide . (Was that channel on -57214.58 or -57214.85? )

And nothing was on :D
They were all shopping channels and mono music.

I had a dream a few weeks ago that my roof was being redone (which just happened last year) and the contractors knocked both dishes down with their ladder and then drove off right away. I'm serious too. I don't know what happened since that's when my alarm went off :)

Actually I didn't go D* in 1998 because there was tooo much confusion in hardware vendors (Now of course I understand the differences) and USSB for Premiums. Dish offered me Atlanta Locals (which D* didn't at the time) and an easier choice of hardware. So I never really Wanted D*. The only thing D* offers me now that is an advantage is D*Tivo, otherwise I don't have reason to even consider jumping.

I dreamed about my Dishplayer AGAIN! This time, it wouldn't download the EPG, no matter what I did, and finally, it erased all recordings, and cancelled my Dish Network subscription. When it came back on, it offered to accept my credit card number to pay the $25 reconnect fee to restore service.
