Question about recent "Lock In Your Price Until 2010" ads....

I became a DirecTV customer on 10/28/08, and was installed on 11/3/08. About a week later I noticed the "Lock In Your Price Until 2010" ads start to appear....is there a certain date timeframe for the price lock in? All the threads recently on here regarding the rate hike early next year got me wondering if my price is locked in or if they'll go up :confused: Thanks for any help anyone might have :)

Before then the ads said $xx for one year then full price after that.

that is new customers only, and it is based on
1. online or call in rebate being applied for which takes 6 weeks or so to start
2. it is also based on what package the customer gets.

I understand its for new customers only, what I was asking is if anyone had a date range for that promotion.....I can't seem to find anything on the website or in the fine print of the offers. Not a big deal, was just curious. If it matters, I have Premier, HD, HD Extra, NFL ST and the receivers listed in my sig :D

Nah, like I said it's not that big of a deal, I just figured someone on here might know the dates that offer is/was available :)

You usually have 12 months of rate change protection with DirecTV anyway... that promotion is just tacking on a few extra months to their normal protection.
