I think the hulk has already been offered in full 1080P. However expect more after the first of the year from what is being gathered/heard.........

The Hulk was only offered as a trailer to test your 1080P capability. There were some full length movies provided to testers early in the program.
There has been no official indication as to when we can expect 1080P movies, and there may still be some issues being worked on, but I wouldn't expect it til after the firstof the year.
While watching a High-Def program last night ("My Name is Earl"), a message popped up on my screen last night asking me to press "Select" to determine if the tv I was watching was 1080p-capable. I did so. A message then popped up that read something to the effect "If you can see this your tv is 1080p-capable."
I wondered what this was about.
I have a 1080p DLP TV and when I try to select the 1080p mode on my HR21-100 I get only a black screen.
After 30sec. the picture comes back and I get a message that my TV does not support D*'s 1080p format.
What is going on here?
Are they using some sort of proprietary format?
Why does it not work?

Your TV probably only supports 1080p/60. D* uses 1080p/24. I don't thing many DLPs support 1080p/24

When the screen goes blank cycle the power on the TV. If the picture appears you are good. If it stays blank then your TV does not accept 1080p/24.
