New Install Last Week

I'm brand spanking new to this forum. I've been looking around to see if the information I need was previously posted, but so far I haven't found what I'm looking for.
I am fairly ignorant of the terminology and specifics of these D* installations. From the information I have gleened from this wonderful forum I have learned a great deal, but I'm confused about some things.
I have the slimline swm installation with an H-21, an H-20, and 2 D12 receivers. In the attic there is a PI and a SWS-4 installed. I need to add another H-21 and a D12, but the SWS-4 is full. Do I just need to replace the SWS-4 with a SWS-8?
What has me confused is all the talk about SWM-4/SWM-8. I'm not sure where my SWM is located in the installation. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yup just swap out to a SWS8. But make sure that the one to the ODU and to the PI are maintained.

You have a SWM LNB and not the SWM8 switch so everything is contained in the LNB.

Make sure that any unused ports on the SWS8 splitter are terminated (screw-on terminating resistors caps).
