That's the first Harmony remote that was released in the US. They were displaying at the CES Show and I ordered one at the show. At that time they were based in Canada and, obviously, were not owned by Logitec. There's not even a model number anywhere on the unit. Functions were selected by a scroll wheel on the side of the unit. The screen is at the bottom, not the top (could be a real pain to deal with). I removed the Harmony "H" logo in Photoshop, but the same logo as their current one is at the bottom. I have two of them here because one died soon after arriving home and they replaced it for me (great customer service). Neither one will fire up now if I put batteries in them. I don't have any idea why though. I think i bought this in 2001 if I recall correctly.

Isn't funny the way things change over time?

I'm sure the Smithsonian people will be calling you very soon. :D
Yeah, maybe they'll put it on one of their shows on their HD Channel, eh?!
How much did that original remote cost?(if you dont mind me asking)

If I recall correctly it was between $200 and $300. It was much clunkier than current designs, but, obviously had great potential.
That is what they still cost...so no headway.
