DP since they blew up

Well guess Dish has some how screwed up my scheduled recording feature? I did not get my WWE Raw on Monday {28th} or my Enterprise {30th}. I checked and they were set up to record to PTV but they didn't!!! Anyone else have problems with this issue or anyone have a fix. Tried resetting the event for Enterprise but still didn't take!! Now I have Smackdown scheduled for tonight, see what happens:shrug:

Always watch your DP event timers. If you notice it has changed itself from "Record every Mon (or Tues . . . or whatever day)" to "Record Everytime" that is a good indicator the timer will fail. I HAD two DPs and this happened to both fairly often. If you notice it, delete the timer and set it up again.

I have never been able to schedule my dishplayer to record a pay per view event in advance for the past year. Every attempt I made this fall to record ESPN gameplan football games by scheduling the recording in advance failed. I could only record the games if I was physically present. Since I wasn't home during the failures (usually at one of the games), I never figured out why, but will replace the dishplayer before next fall to insure that it doesn't happen again.

Thanx for the quick replys, I did notice that the timers had changed to record everytime so I will check them again now. Seems that the 3AM download changes them for some reason as I know they originally said every Monday and such. The download also keeps adding channals to my list also that I have deleted. Anyway thanx again, let you know what happens tonite when Smackdown is scheduled. Gotta keep up with this soap called wrestleing.

I have always believed that the DP guide has some deep rooted flaw in it that causes a good many of the DP flaws. The autoforced change to "record everytime" is one visual indicator that the guide is the root of DP evil. Before I got rid of my DPs, I was holding out hope that the switch to the 9 day guide would eliminate some if not most of the DP bugs.

If your timer for Smackdown looked good this morning (didn't change to everytime), it should fire. Emphasis on should.
