Would this splitter be a replacement for the SWS-4 splitter sold with the SWM-8 multi-switch? Has anyone used one of these with the SWM-8?

Item Info
Item 4350: These high-quality splitters feature an extremely durable, long lasting design.
Diode Steered, Dual Ground Passes DC and IR from Outputs to Input (will not pass DC from input to output). When used on a satellite TV system these can be used after the receiver to split for multiple TVs.

Thanks for the help!

Yes, that should work for a SWM setup as a splitter.

Just to be clear I want to use it on the output side of the SWM multiswitch; feeding 4 HR22s.

My only concern with that unit is that all ports are power passing. If you use it AFTER the Power Inserter, it will be fine. If you use it on SWM2 output it will be fine. Do not use it between the LNB and the power inserter.
