My neighbor bought a new Samsung 1080p for Christmas and the tech just installed the HR-22 today. I went over to make sure everything was hooked up correctly and noticed this setting.

Oh, yes... It accepted 1080p so I'm officially jealous now...

I hope you added 1080i as well since it cannot do 1080p all the time and would revert back to 480p when not on 1080p content :p

Was on a service call to fix what the well intentioned neighbor screwed up.

Customer has a SL3
Neighbor has a SL5
Neighbor claims that the installer screwed up and they should have HD channels in the 70's. So he re-runs the sat setup. Of course 110/199 fail. The box complains of multiswitch error. Neighbor leaves. Customer :confused: & :mad:

Took longer to do paperwork and closeout than it did to fix. :p

Yes, it is setup for both 1080i and 1080p.
