I was told right now that swm lnb's don't "see" the MPEG2HD channels, thus they are not showing up in the guide anymore. is this true, those of yous guys who have them installed?

The "five" LNB SWM works fine, but the "three" LNB SWM doesn't have anything pointed to 110 & 119, so they don't

BTW: it isn't "SWM" since these same LNBs come in a non SWM version.

and the legacy ports on a SWM do not see the 103 and 99.

 SWM LNBs don't have legacy ports. :)

BTW: legacy ports "don't see" Ka-lo, but "do see" Ka-hi 99/103

It's true only if your SWM dish is the SWM-3 LNB version...you have the SWM-5. They will eventually shut those channels off, but for now they are being mirrored on one of the satellites that the SWM-3 doesn't pull in, hence the reason the people with the Slimline-3 LNB's (SWM or not) don't get them.

Lots of people hear slimline and swm and get the two terms transposed incorrectly...and don't get me started on SWM and SWS :D

lets go with Single Wire Multiswitch and Single Wire Splitter (a SWM Splitter)
