Utah Jazz Guard John Stockton Retires

The NBA's all-time assist and steals leader, as well as one of the fifty greatest players of all time announced his retirement today. Like him or not, the guy came to play every night, and even at age 41, he had a season that most point guards would love to have. What a stud.

I too have nothing but respect for Stockton. He put up 1000 assists a season for several seasons WHILE scoring around 15 a game and getting 3 steals a game. These types of numbers just dont happen in todays NBA.

After MJ, he had the greatest instincts I have EVER seen in a basketball player. Hats off to the guy.

The Stockton/Malone duo will be missed.
