Do you mean being able to use the networking features of the HD DVR without running a cable? You can currently do this by purchasing a wireless adapter like the one on the DirecTV site under "Add Kits and Equipment."
The linksys WRT600N wireless bridge adapter is currently support by the receivers to connect to a wireless network if you want.
There is no built in wireless adapter.

Is Inet an abbreviation for the word Internet?

Do you mean WGA600N? The WRT is a router not a bridge.

The Add-on kit is WGA600N which is a wireless bridge to connect to your network. You would also need a wireless router or wireless access point as part of your network to complete the circuit so to speak.

If there are it won't be known for sure until it's released. DirecTV doesn't generally announce features of new hardware ahead of time.
Will the wireless adapter work for campground WiFi? Sometimes the offered bandwidth is pretty poor. Our DTV is in an RV. Also, would an adapter be able to sense various available WiFi networks an allow one a choice in this setting?

It might work, but you will have to set it up on a computer first. Most of the WiFi networks like those in the campgrounds (KOA for example) require you to click on an 'Accept' button for terms of usage before you can connect to the internet. This is common with most 'public access' wifi networks.
