Okay, according to Dish Network's web page (http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/customercare/charlie_chat/), the next Charlie Chat is on May 12th at 9 PM ET.

So, what questions will be answered? Possibly:
* 121 SuperDish
* HD Announcements
* More locals
* More international channel
* Will Charlie show up
* How Charlie's vacation went
* Who was the ultimate survivor (oh wait, that on CBS the previous night) :lol:

So, if you're not watch a NBA playoff game or the season finalle of your favorite series, you may want to watch the CHARLIE CHAT. Or, better yet, just join us in the chat room for the Charlie Chit Chat. :lol:

This could be the best and most exciting chat we have had in a while. I am looking forward to this one.

Charlie won't be on the show this month, since it's a Tech Chat, not a Charlie Chat. I hate to be pesimistic, but I don't think we'll learn anything we don't already know.

Listen people - it is more likely a typo - May 12 is a Tech Chat...
Charlie Chat is June 9....

Darkman is correct, it is a Tech Chat. I am also wondering if we will see anymore of Charlie on Charlie Chat.. His same stupid advisers have been telling him to back away and let the corp handle things.. My belief -opinion- is that Tech and Charlie will be merged into, new this month on E*. "How to operate your remote control." "Upcoming exciting events", but we can't tell you.

E* is shutting off distant nets to the distant net 6+ cities and waivers will not help you. E* is simply complying with a Florida Judges order, and this, I -suspect- is going to result in sub loss for E*'s next quarter because obviously E* has not delivered on their promissed equipment and programming and old subs are tired of it most of all.

Hmmmm.......

Dish's webpage says "Charlie Chat"
My 501 guide says "Charlie Chat"
You guys say it's "Tech Chat"
And, I haven't checked last month summaries, if they were posted, for the announced dates of a tech chat or Charlie Chat.

Conclusion: We're going to have SOME SORT OF CHAT in May. :shrug:

So, in other words, you either get your local channels or you get NONE at all? No more NY/LA channels for those that cannot get their locals? Or is this for those that get the other markets other than NY/LA in which you could choose which one you wanted?

They have pushed the pressure even further to try to get the satellite companies to provide the rest of the markets.

I just emailed Dave Kummer and hopefully we get a reply of whats up.

It would NOT surprise me to see it be a Charlie Chat just for the fact they have so much to announce (especially if the locals on Dish are killed by the Florida courts)

I will let you know what Dave says as soon as I hear back from him.

Perhaps Charlie could appear on the Tech Forum to make up for when he was not on before or to announce several things.

If he does then I REALLY hope they extend the Tech Chat a Half hour. I love the tech chats (Well except for when they go shopping for TV's or have "Bill Nye the Science Guy" explaining how plasma TV's work) :D

I thought I seen someone else on here say that they were going to extend the tech chat this time and wanted some of our questions?
