I was told that only True SATA II 3GB/s PCI SATA Host Adapters or Computers with Built-In SATA II can work with 6ft. cables, all others must use 3ft. cables.
Do we have any specs on what is inside of the HR receivers and what type of cable we need for running eSata drives from a longer distance?
Looks like 3ft is ok but what about 6ft or longer?
Anybody running 6ft or more of eSata and if so what receiver, enclosure and brand of cable brand are you using?
