Now that we have HD-Locals...how long before they drop the SD locals coming off 72.5?

They must be getting ready for the move.
They put another standard def The CW feed up on the HD satellite D11.
UNC is up on the 101 sat so all the locals in this area is now on the D11 sat and the main sat.
Directv has be installing KA KU dishes and installing a cheap looking HD reciever in homes. This must be so folks can get the locals without the 2nd dish.

Directv has taken WCTI 12 HD down and now is sending down a MPEG 4 SD signal. Apparently WCTI and Directv has not yet come to a agreement.
WYDO 14, WCTIs sister station is up in HD.
This is 2 MPEG 4 SD channels now in this market.

Anyone else have a permanent pillar box on ABC? The picture looks like it is HD, but I have the black bars on the outside. In fact, I know it's HD because when I try to change the picture format, nothing changes. I saw another thread where a guy had this problem on all of his HD channels after the latest update. A reset worked for him. Nothing seems to work for me. Any ideas?

I think that's normal when SD content is broadcart on the HD channel. They add the sidebars to make the SD feed look sharper.

Now for my question. Is anybody noticing very poor PQ on Fox 14 HD feed? The picture has an almost constant studder that at times makes it very difficult to watch. I emailed the tv station but received no reply. D* wants to troubleshoot my receiver but 14 is the only channel that does it.

It's the HD shows that have the pillar boxes. For example, "Lost" looks like the picture is in HD but it has pillar bars. Same thing with "Desperate Housewives." I know ABC originally showed up in HD and then went back to SD. They finally went back to HD. Maybe they've gone back to SD again? Anyone else seeing this problem?
