Looking for a little guidance from someone on an OTA issue. One of my local broadcasters flash-cut to digital only in November. Seemed like a great thing but no one at the station knows who exactly to contact at Tribune Media Services to get the Directv program guide data updated to reflect this. The station was analog only previously. They are finally getting enough complaints from Dtv subs to realize something is wrong. I spent an hour or so on the phone with an engineer there but the same question remains. Who and at what divison of TMS do they need to contact to inform them of the existance of the new KFXP 31.1 digital broadcast. Until the guide/zipcode attenna setup is updated we are all out of luck.
Thanks
Odd tidbit. They are also the broadcasters of the local NBC affiliate. Dish network carries that channel. So Dish must be getting the PSIP data from the NBC station uploading it to TMS where it becomes available to Directv. Is that plausible? The engineers at KFXP will make the call in one second if someone can tell them who to call.
Thanks
