Seeing as how the tivocommunity board is apparently maintained by the same people who maintain quality control on Echostar PVRs, I'll post this here.
I recorded the "Lucy" special last night. The info showed "According to Jim" (which is on a different network). The episode was entitled "Slumber Party". "Lucy" recorded fine. The labeling is was what was odd.
I have a Season Pass for "Late Show with David Letterman", first run only. For a while I got a description for a movie, for which I've forgotten the name, that was scheduled for 5/13 at 11:35pm on my local CBS channel 46 (Atlanta), for a duration of 1:02. A few days later this movie didn't show up in the Letterman time slot. But neither does Letterman, even though I know it's a first run.
Same deal with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. At first it said EXTRA on the local UPN channel 69 at 8:00. Now there's nothing to be recorded at that time on that channel. Buffy is definitely showing a first run episode.
This one is good. My ARWL for Atlanta Braves baseball shows the following oddities:
Tues 5/13 299 NIK1 10:30pm 30 mins.
Tues 5/14 300 NIK2 1:30am 30 mins.
Wed 5/15 229 HGTV 2:00pm 30 mins.
All are labeled Braves at Giants.
Anyone else have these kind of problems? Who's fault is it? Should I set manual recordings or will they fix themselves?
