Strange my Vip222 is really acting up. At night I only get 6 HD channels (424,154,144,139,112,110) All others are out with 002 015 messages.

How could I loose only 80% of my HD channels on the same sat? I do see a few HD channels are on sat 110 (364,362,140,138,122) they are out too. Any ideas? Second DN tech coming out tomarrow pm.

129's dying, wobbling, etc. Peak the dish, and wait for the new satellite about to go in the 129 slot.

You might try a hard reboot (unplug) the receiver and/or a check-switch to reset everything, to put that out of the equation.

Since you are in Virginia, you should serious consider using a dish pointing at 61.5. Either a second (wing) dish or a 1000.4 (eastern arc). Not sure if you can get your Dish installer to do this for you for free, unless your HD Locals are on 61.5

I don't think 129 is THAT sick. Check all cable connections----especially those outside if the restart brings you no results. You may also need to re-aim the dish.

It's pretty bad, actually. But Ciel-2 should be online sometime next month, and 129 problems should pretty much disappear.

DN repalced the LNB yesterday and of course all channels were working. So far so good buy skies are clear.

I can report the two nights we lost the HD we got 129 - 30 transponder channels fine. We got 129- 06 and a 129-08. The 129 transponders that would not work were, 13,19,3,7,11,27,31. We also lost the HD 110-7, 110-17, and 110-13

Hmmmm

the new LNB appears to have been the needed fix. so far so good.

Do you have a Superdish? Just my curiosity on how many people have one that has not needed to have the LNB replaced yet.
