Hooking up someone elses box to my dish??

Does anyone know if my friend brought over an active(paid for) receiver and hooked it up to my Dish, would it work??? Would it get the channels he pays for or mine??? Reason I'm asking is I want to get rid of Comcrap. I live in philly so this would mean no Flyers.. If an out of state friend bought the CI package, sent me the receiver, and I hooked it up to my Dish would it work with HIS locals intact?

First of all, it's a violation of your (his) user agreement to "account stack". Receivers active on an account must remain at the address they are listed as being at.

Second, most locals are sent via a spot beam; move out of the spot, and you can no longer receive your locals. You can't receive locals from another state in your state.
