No audio on 721 after 1.11 update

Anyone else lose all audio after the software update to 1.11? I cannot get any audio on my 721 anymore, although nothing else in my A/V setup has changed other than the 721 update. I've even tried holding down power to force the reboot, and still no audio. My A/V receiver does show that it's getting digital signal from the 721, but just silence. I've also tried hooking up analog left/right stereo, but no luck with that either.

Help?

Well, I just got the upgrade and audio works. Even can listen to RFI and the Sky Angel channels now.

Update: If I disconnect the optical audio cable and hook up the analog left/right stereo RCA jacks, that works. Apparently the optical overrides the analog inputs on my receiver, which is why the left/right stereo hookup wasn't working for me earlier. Now the question is, "Why doesn't my optical audio work after the upgrade?" <And yes, optical worked great before the upgrade :-)> Guess I'll deal with that in a few hours after the game is over...

I have the optical connection hooked up and it works just fine with L1.11

Just checked my 721 and both the analog (TV) and optical (Surround Sound Receiver) outputs are working normally for old and new programs after rebooting with L1.11. (Didn't check before rebooting.)

I had that also. A reboot fixed my problem.

I fixed it as follows: "Menu, 6, 8, DD/PCM (the 3rd option)". Yup, that was it. I finally got around to debugging the problem today, hit upon the DD/PCM option, and that fixed it. I logged on today to put in that fix, but Bill beat me to it a couple of days ago. :-)

My next question is, why isn't Dolby Digital working? Unlike Bill who had it "reset" to DD only by 1.11, I had intentionally set it to DD only when I first got the box, as I have more confidence in my A/V receiver's decoding than the 721's decoding. So, for me DD only was working on 1.09 (or whatever the prior version number was), but is no longer working on 1.11.

Can someone who hasn't gotten the upgrade verify that DD only used to work?
