As of 8:39 CST CNN was out in Houston, CNBC was up.

Interesting thing at my house.

I can see CNN & CNBC (A&E is also included) on the HR21 and HR23, but as of 7:30 am CDT they were out on both HR20's

I was getting the searching for signal on tuner 2 message, but got the same message on these 3 for tuner 1 after locking tuner 2 via a recording.

Wonder if these have changed transponders or something?

They were down here in NH as well until I started to type this post. Seems to be some breakup to the picture though.

The HD feeds of CNN and CNBC were out about two months ago, this morning the same problem. I am using an HR20-700 with the latest NR software. Will check with my neighbor who has an H20-600 and report back.

CNNHD/A&EHD/CNBCHD are 771 on my HR20-700 and come in fine on my H21-200:confused:

If I'm reading the SAT/TP list correctly then CNNHD,A&EHD and CNBCHD are all on SAT 103 TP 10.
HR20-700 reads 0
H21-200 reads 88

Reset had no affect.

An oddity is that if I leave it on CNNHD after about 45 secs. the channel will come in but broken.
The signal meter still reads 0 on 103/10?

Anyone notice that transponder 10 on 103(C) is reading 0. I wonder if this has anything to do about it?

Yep, I do have the same problem in the Seattle area "searching for signal on tuner 2 message". If you go in the signal strength menu (the one with the bargraph) you will notice that the signal for TP 10 on tuner 1 comes up fast, but no signal on tuner 2, but maybe after 15 seconds it comes up. Never had this problem before. The video and sound stutter this morning on CNNHD.

I have broken audio and video on cnnhd, a&ehd, cnbchd, fsn west hd..
All relate to transponder #10 on 103(b). How does this get back to directv.
It is never so bad I get searching for signal..

Glad to see it's not just me as CNNHD is acting up here in San Antonio. I've got picture and audio but both break up every few minutes. I've been a bit paranoid since I installed my own SWM-8 a couple of weeks ago so I went around this morning and checked all the connections before I read this thread.

I had the problem this morning on both the HR20s and not on the 21. I had no signal on 103c tp10 which I found that at least CNN CNBc & STZK HD's were on and all were out. Has it been fixed? And why only on 20's?

Looks like the signal on tp10 has been restored now. It's 12:58PM.

The rep told me that engineering was aware of the problem, and that it would be resolved "by the 14th". :eek2:

CNN-HD & CNBC-HD are now OK here in Washington State. Sound dropouts and occasional picture breakup are gone.

Thanks to posters above. When I first discovered the problem early this morning my first thought was the 65+ mph wind gusts we have had due to storms, but dish was OK and I only saw the problem on these two.

I immediately came here and saw others had issues too, so figured DirecTV would get it fixed.

Sat 103/TP 10 now has a signal reading 90 and the corresponding channels are up.

It seems to me that CNN HD has a slight audio dropout. I emphazise on SLIGHT :)
