I have an extra tv hooked up to an rf modulator connected to an directv hr 20there is shading on the menu and in the picture how can I get this cleared. changes made were diff modulator, new coax ca, diff hr20 &22, new tv and still have a shade or ghost on the tv. how can i fix this without spending to much

Ghosting is caused by a smaller, slightly delayed analog signal. In this case, it could be because the signal is leaking from somewhere along the way, bouncing off a wall and reaching your TV a little after the regular signal on the coax. If this only happens with a local over-the-air signal, then that could be the problem instead.

Have you tried outputing on a different channel such as ch 4 instead of 3, to rule out local channel interference?
