ugh- i have become such the kazaa whore since my 508 was stolen-bad downloads and all-i am waiting for the new house to be finished before i decide what new receivers to buy(the plan is to get a BIG BIG BIG screen tv for the living room and a nice shiney new 32 incher(tv that is-for the minds in need of some soap) for the bedroom)...but i am missing the episodes and finales of 24, angel, buffy, alias, and law and order...ugh

24 is getting a little implausible lately (let;s just say that a character suffering Cardiac Arrest and then running down the street an hour later is a LITTLE on the wild side), but MAN am I hooked on the show. My heart has leaped out of my chest on several occasions watching this show. Season 2 is even twice as good as the first season and I didn't think THAT could be possible.

I know what you mean! I just bought season 1 on six DVDs and will watch it over the summer to ease the pain of withdrawal. My neighbor dropped in one night and saw one episode and she was hooked. It's the crack cocain of TV. Before this season is over I want to see Bauer beat the stuffing out of Ms. Palmer. :) And Kim -- she is so clueless. Had to be told to shoot Alex so he wouldn't kill her first. Can't wait 'til Tuesday night!

We missed out on the first season of 24 last year so we ended up buying it on DVD. Oh my God! I have never had such a wild heart pounding ride. 24 with no commercial interruption was hard to believe. This is must see TV in our house.

With one hour left, what do you think. Has season 2 outshined season 1? The stakes are definitely higher.

Next Tuesday isn't coming soon enough! Just a shame that fox only shows 480p on digital and not true HD.

I didn't think they could outdo season 1, but they have. I want to strangle that bitch in CTU. What a great season!!! What can they do to keep it going?

Has there been any word of a repeat "marathon" on FX like there was for season 1? I was capturing it for my son and missed ONE episode!!!! It would be great to be able to get it. 24 hours of recording without one episode in the middle doesn't help him much!!!!

No word yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if a 24 marathon was run.

Season one on DVD is on sale this week at Best Buy, and Season two will probably be out by fall.

It's going to be interesting how they work out the plot points from the last five minutes of season two into season three.

They are planning on releasing the 2nd season BEFORE season 3 debuts.

Smart marketing. This show is like Crack. Once you start watching it you are hooked. The best way to watch it is to Tivo a couple of weeks first. That sledgehammer plot twist that comes at the end of each show just pushes you over the edge as you realize that that week is over and you have to wait 601,200 seconds to catch the next one.

I didn't like the cliffhanger this year though, I was hoping Bauer would get a couple of days rest before his next "bad" day. It looks like the Prez is about to have an even worse day.

Cameo alert.... Everyone else notice that the woman who shook his hand was the same one who blew up the airliner last year as she was bailing out of the same plane with an ID card she needed from a passenger (couldn't she have just stolen his wallet on the ground?)

I hadn't noticed! I'll have to tell the wife about this. She was disappointed about the way this season ended as well. It ended like most of the episodes ended, wondering what will happen next episode. I guess we'll just have to wait.

(If the next season is the next day, shouldn't the name be changed to 48?)
