First off, yes, we got 11 inches of snow yesterday. BUT, all was working fine, never lost signal at all. This morning, same thing, perfect signal, picture, everything.
Got home from church, and it was all crap.
3 TV's, 1 w/ D-10, 1 w/ R-10, 1 w/ HR20-100.
Slimline HD dish, local channel dish hooked up to 2 TV's, but not the main TV with the HR-20.

The main TV (HR-20): no pic, 0's on all transponders.
R-10 TV: Local sound, no pic, nothing else working.
D-10 TV: Locals working, nothing else is.

Called D*, went through reboots (hard and soft), cable switching, yada yada.

Now: HR-20 TV: Nothing, gets stuck on Acquiring Guide.
R-10 TV: Locals, every other channel says "Channel not available".
D-10 TV: Nothing, not even locals anymore.

There is some snow on the dish itself, but no more than has been before and we never lost anything. I can not, and most probably would not, get up on the ladder in the snow to check the dish-hubby drives truck and is on the way to Jersey, so he can't do it either.
They can't get a tech here till Wednesday. :eek2:
I guess I'm just looking for some ideas, because I have dealt with Bluegrass Sat. before, and I don't have alot of hope if it's anything more than a realignment, he'll have any idea....

PRAY for sunshine and hope it melts snow and ice off dish. Hopefully after that signal returns.

Any chance of a set of signal strength. Seeing that the local spotbeams still seem to come in on the R10 means something is coming through. Ice buildup hopefully? any way for a hose or super soaker to the dish.

I don't have a super soaker, checked neighbors, they don't either. Needless to say, none to be found in the stores yet.
I thought of the hose, but I don't know if it's even thawed enough.
As far as signal strength, either N/A or 0. Pretty much nothing else.
