Finally actual HD on VH1-HD

Today I was watching Rock of Love on VH1 & it's the very first time I've ever seen a saw on the station that was actually in HD, oddly this was the 2nd episode of the show & the 1st episode was not in HD, The PQ was Great & hope to see many more shows get the HD treatment. I also hope this was not a 1 episode deal, guess we'll see next week, .....also Their new show Sober House premieres Thursday hopefully that'll be HD as well.

I recorded the first episode for my wife and it was indeed in HD. Perhaps like MTVHD, they don't have reruns in HD yet, just first runs

They do look much better on VH1-HD then the SD channel but other then the new Rock of love all the past reality shows have def not been in HD...many times with the Viacom stations the sd shows are 4x3 framed (& look pretty good) but the HD programing will take up the whole screen & look Amazing.

i was on the phone with a friend who was watching the show so i turned to it. She doesnt have HD. I told her it's better you didnt. Most of those women on that show ..well...i guess some guys like that, but not me

I wish they'd bring back "Behind the Music" instead of these endless celeb dating/reality shows.

Agreed! There's this whole genre of reality show that appears to be based on this premise:

Get a bunch of whores and one has been washed up guy

or

Get a bunch of gigolos and one whore

I was personally hoping Time Warner would have told Viacom to shove it. I could have lost all those channels and not cared one bit.

I don't know. Seems like there's always a fresh crop of old, washed-up, has- been groups to pick from. It's a commodity with limitless supply, I think.

Then again, rather than running "Behind the Music" episodes, they could just replay halftime shows from Super Bowls, and it would accomplish the same thing. :lol:

i turned on the tv one day and ray j was just finishing up...the girls stood there in a line and each came up to get a glass of booze, i guess signifying they will stay.

to each one he asked: do you have love for ray j...um who would ever answer no? what a stupid question! And he sounded wasted or something..dont they give him lines to read? he pretty much said the same thing about all of them. Just didnt make sense...clearly a show worse than cop rock :lol:
