Why is the HD PPV schedule for 1-23-08 so lite?

I would like to order a HD PPV movie next Friday night, but the schedule looks really lite. I think I saw about 8 HD PPV channels that were showing nothing. How early or late during a particular week does Directv wait to increase the number of HD PPV showings?

PPV schedules can change without much notice, I least I have noticed that in the past. I also think they may adjust the schedules based on demand, popularity and even maybe contractuial issues. Wait 4 or 5 days to closer to the date you want and check it again.

Could be a high number of Game Time Only RSN HD channels that have programming. They share transponder space with the HD PPV channels.

Assuming you will watch the PPV on your HR20-700 why not just record it sometime before Friday.
