Hey guys, im sure this has been asked before but I have very little time to search. Last night i ran coaxil cables from my HR20 HD Plus DVR to another TV till I noticed there was no coaxil TV OUT. Basically I want to set up a TV on my patio to watch the games but not install a new receiver, rather use an extenion from the HR20. I dont want to buy a very long HDMI or component cable. What are my options?

You need to buy an RF modulator and run RCA's from the HR20 to it and then the cable line outside.

They run around $20-$25.

You can use an old VCR if you have one laying around.

Checkout MonoPrice.com. You can get a long HDMI for pretty cheap there. you can also get an HDMI Splitter. This way you can still get an HD signal.

If you're expecting an HD picture on the patio, you'll need to go with either HDMI or component cabling (five coaxial cables with RCA males on both ends). An RF modulator will only send an SD signal and it will not look pretty on an HDTV.

If HD is the goal, Crypter's recommendation of monoprice.com is one of the answers. Bluejeans (a sponsor here) also offers excellent values.
