Lost Channel 696-1

I noticed I can no longer get the HD version of Sharks and Warriors games. I called DirecTV last night and I was routed to a second level technician who agreed I should get that channel as I have channel 696 and have the HD Access in my programming package. He did something and I got 696-1 back. As soon as I changed the channel later in the evening, I lost it again. The channel guide is weird, instead of describing either the Sharks or Warriors in HD, it mentions NHL Center Ice or NBA League Pass and that I have to subscribe to those packages to watch the channel.

I watched the game last night on 696-1 in Hd,no lost signal at all,but the W's did loose another game.:nono2:

I've had repeated, intermitent problems with 696-1 for over a year now too. Occasionally it will clear itself but most often I have to call D* and go thru the techs to restore it only to have to go thru the whole thing again when the next Sharks game is in HD. Hard to believe this kind of thing is so persistent. I'm in Reno, NV so I get blocked out of Warriors games cause I'm in the Sac Kings DMA (go figure, no even in the same state) so the only game I really notice the problem is Sharks games. It hasn't occured in a few months but I'm not that optumistic that it has been fixed. Don't have a answer for you other than to say I don't wait anymore. I call D* right away now and voice my unhappiness with the situation. I guess that's why I've never recieved any 10 year customer awards from D* and don't expect any. I'm happy with most everything else about D* other than this issue and a slow HR21.
