View Full Version : Can Dish 500 receive 110,119 and 61.5 signals at the same time?
I am a little confused about the dish 500 antenna dish.
I understand it can receive the 110 and 119 signals from the same mounting location. Can it also receive the signal from the 61.5 satellite?
What programming is coming from the 61.5?
How many E* satellites are there?
Is there a list showing the transmissions coming from each the E* satellites?
No, the dish 500 can only get 2 sat locations, separated by 9 degrees. I think you could re-aim it to get 101 and 110, but dish does not have programing on 101.
The High Definition programming is on 61.5 and some locals.
Check here: http://servicedesk.dbstalk.com/
for more information on all the programming.

It MIGHT be possible to have a large enough dish to pick up all of these feeds, although it would be better to just have two smaller dishes than one big one unless you are wanting to pick up multiple feeds in between.

See the new EKB page Echostar Satellites (http://ekb.dbstalk.com/300). Still a work in progress but it answers some of your questions. All the satellites are listed except E*4 and E*5 which I believe are parked in orbit for backup duty.
TNGTony's Dish Channel List (http://ekb.dbstalk.com/dishlist.htm) identifies the satellite and transponder for every channel.
