Anyone catch MTV Icon last night?

What did ya think? I thought the best part was the end. Although I did enjoy KoRns performance of One. Snoop Dog's Sad But True was almost as much as a disgrace as that annoying Skater Boy girl singing Fuel. The interviews were cool and overall I'm very pleased to see Metallica is now an MTV Icon, as if they need that to prove they are the best metal band ever! :)

I watched it and it was pretty interesting. I could have done without snoop and I didn't think Fuel was done too bad. It's on my 508 awaiting some time to dump it to a DVD. I think VH1 needs to make a new Behind the Music for Metallica since a lot has changed in the last few years.

I guess I didn't like Fuel since that what's her name sang it. I honestly can remember her name for the life of me. But I don't like her :) Yesterday I hooked my 508 up to my line in on my sound card and recorded Korn and Limp Bizkits performances and Metallica's performance at the end on my PC in wav format and burned it on to CD.

Hey Steve (in case you are interested, and if you didn't already know) Jason Newstead in now the bassist for a long time time Canadian Metal/Industrial band VOIVOD. I recently picked up the self titled CD and boy this is a pretty good CD. It brings me back to the 80/90's when I used to listen to VOIVOD regularily. Anyhow I thought you might be interested to know.
