Odd coincidence...

Being a fan of baseball and hockey, I just realized the very strange coincidence that could be about to unfold before us. Last year in the ALCS we saw Minnesota battle Anaheim to vie for a bid in the WOrld Series. This May, as if in a flashback, the NHLs Minnesota Wild are trying to come back and win their series for a shot at the Western Conference finals. Their potential opponent? You guessed it. The Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Could this be a chance for Minny to redeem itself and crush the cursed West Coast once and for all?:confused: Just thought it was an interesting little sidestory. :)

Go Ducks! I can't name more than 3 people on the team, but I'm driving the bandwagon around here. What's wrong with another Orange County championship? Maybe the championship parade will be better than the one the Angels had last year.

Cursed West may be h i s t o r y anyway if the Lakers don't show up really soon. Hopefully, they reappear from the dead and win 4 of the next 5 to keep advancing.
