The Blues are broadcasting 31 of their 82 games this season in HD (including all home games), up from 10 per season in each of the last three seasons.
"Ultimately, we plan to produce all Blues games in HD," Fox Sports Midwest media relations manager Geoff Goldman said Friday. "That won't immediately happen -- and it won't happen next year. But next year we hope to increase that number again."
He said Thursday's 5-2 home win over Colorado drew a 2.1 rating, meaning 2.1 percent of the all homes with a TV in the St. Louis market were tuned into the game.
Goldman said the Blues drew a 2.4 rating last season.
"It's pretty strong," he said. "The Blues continue to be a strong television draw and remain one of the top five rated NHL teams in the U.S. in their local market."
