1. I finally decided to unload the Dishplayer and move on to the 721. The weekend the DP crashed was to me just a sign of things to come and I have always paid the $10 per month fee.

2. I had a Dishplayer and a model 6000. One dish with duals points at 110/119 and a dish points at 6.15. I have two SW21 swiches and one line going to each receiver, which are currently hooked to the same TV. I was planning on using the 6000 until I either got an install set up or installed a third line myself for the second line of the 721.

3. I was delaying in changing out the wiring (adding a quad and a dual and some bigger switches), until after I got my roof replaced this spring, as they will have to tear down the dishes anyway. With channels being juggled from satellite to satellite and possibly a new superdish, I just can't see any purpose in changing the wiring and switching to anything now, which will have to come down in the near future.

4. In the meantime, has anyone come up with any solution other than a second line for the 721 yet. Can the 721 be operated off of just one line (use one tuner until new super dish is available and have that installed)? Would it be possible to use a A-B switch and switch between the model 6000 and one of the 721 tuners? 90% of my viewing will be over the 721, but there are a few programs that I like to watch in HD. Other than HD, the model 6000 is pretty useless. I could even switch the line manually for the next few months for those programs that I want to see in HD. I realize that this isn't much of a long term solution, but it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to have an install now and then have it all changed again in a few months. Additionally, I hope to see the 6000, when the 921 comes out and put the 721 in another room. Any recommendations or don'ts?

2. Your Dish 500 has duals but the only switches you mention are the 2 SW21s. Does your Dish 500 actually have a Twin (pictures (http://ekb.dbstalk.com/82)) or are the 2 duals feeding an SW42 or SW44? If it's a Twin it will have to be replaced because it can not feed more than 2 receivers.

3. The Quad is the simplest upgrade from the Twin but I'm not sure what you mean by adding a dual because your 61.5 dish likely already has a dual output LNBF. If you don't need any 61.5 channels on the 721 you can hook it directly to the Quad and use 1 SW21 for the 6000.

4. Just announced at Team Summit, Dish Pro Plus will let you connect a dual tuner receiver to a single line. You would have to replace all your LNBs and switches with DPP ones whenever they come out.
