Will this work with hvr22-100, the swm-8 is a aspen. I'm in the south(temps)
Replaces any DIRECTV Slimline LNB and allows any input to be independently selected and distributed via one of the eight designed SWM output frequency channels
Support six (5) orbital Slots 99/101, 103/110/119 satellites
Uses only 1 RG6 between SWM-8 and Splitter or power inserter
Maximum Distance from SWM8 to Splitter: 200
Power Supply Included
Works on all SWM compatible receivers.
Thanks

Yes you can swap your LNB assembly with the SWMline LNB assembly and it will work with the HR22.
Do you have any other receviers?

A SWM-8 is not a LNB, it's the external switch.
A SWM-5 is the LNB. Comes in two flavors SL5S & SL3S made by both WNC & Eagle-Aspen/Probrand.
Which is it you are talking about?

Eagle/aspen for the lnb....it is supposevly d*v approved. I have an hd 20 on this installation. This will be at a farm where I keep a RV with one rgb line in via a/b switch from the inmotion dome on top. When parked at farm I would like to receive full hd for hdvr 22-100 in rv without running another line(PITA). Currently hooked up to a 3lnb oval, so I'm missing some channels.
Have an opportunity to pick up the lnb/swm-8/power injector for $50.00 new. I have a new slimline 5 w/o swm setup.
Thanks.

Actually the SWM-5 is also an external switch with only 5 channels (it only was deployed in limited quantities). I have one of the field test units. The SL5S and SL3S are both 8-channel devices.
