The guide showed this as being a repeat last night and did not record. This was a new show. Not sure if this is a Directv fault or not, but the HR20 did not record nor is anything listed in the history

Not sure if this is a Directv fault or not, but the HR20 did not record nor is anything listed in the historyInteresting. Mine recorded, but I had "Episode Type" set to "Both". What's interesting, tho, is the program INFO shows the "First Aired" date as 1/13/09, but the episode title "Once Lost" shows up in tv.com as "First Aired" 1/27/09, and shows the "Believe Me" episode (the one with the religious statue) as the 1/13/09 episode.

This is the first time I've ever seen a bad original air date in the GUIDE data. /steve

Mine is set to record first run only. It is set to record on 3 diff HR's and none recorded. Due to the date it showed as first aired I would guess.

If DirecTV handles first run like TiVo (and I'm not sure they do), if a show is on within 2 weeks of it's original air date and you haven't yet recorded it, TiVo still considers that show "first run" as far as you are concerned. Last night's show would have just missed that 2-week cutoff. /steve
