View Full Version : Harmony Remote Control
Anyone else have problems with Harmony Remote Controls? I had one and it took a mind of it's own. Under warranty, I had it replaced. Received an upgraded remote and things seemed fine for almost a full year before this one decided that it just wasn't going to work anymore. Still under warranty,so I'll get replacment. But with the amount of money I spent on this remote, I should never have to go through this twice in a year's span.

I've had a couple of minor issues, but nothing huge. I had an 880 that took a crap well after the warranty period and when I called, they sent me a replacement anyway, no questions asked.
I updated my 670 a couple of months ago and the new update had an error where you couldn't program the hard buttons on the top (watch movie, watch tv, etc.) to anything but the defaults (I was informed of this after I called them regarding the issue). They fixed it about 2 weeks later (via a new download).
If you're having issues, just give them a call.
My first 880 had a bad '0', and '+' buttons. I needed to ultimately wiggle it for 3 minutes on the base, holding my breath to charge it. The tilt sesnor didn't really work.
I called Logitech mainly about the charging issue and despite being way past warranty, they sent me a replacement remote with newly designed base. It's been perfect so far.
My 688 doesn't have the most responsive 'left ring' response but other than that, it's very good too.
