I just got my bill from Dish and my rate for the AT100 with HBO/Max pak just went up another $2.99 per month. Dish increased their rates 3 months ago. What in the Hell are they doing now?

jerryez did you possibly just finish a 1 year contract where your rates were protected?

My bill was 66.01 last month and is 68.99 this month. Value pak is 49.99 plus 4.99 for additional reciever and 5.99 for locals plus tax.
I do not have last months bill for a breakdown, but am not under and contract and have not been for a year. Is the 49.99 been the same since January.

maybe you removed programming or made some changes. could be some ppv ont here that you haven't been billed for.

You can go look at the bill online. They should have a nice breakdown of what was charged to your account.

Or is there some new tax that is being charged to you on your bill? That indicated a $2.98 increase which may be a ppv or something if they still have those ppv specials you still get for $2.99 but I think they are all $3.99 now aint they?

Well...the price for AT100/HBO/Max value Pack is 49.99 and has been since February. The price for locals is $5.99 and has been since february. The price for an additional receiver mirror fee is $4.99 and has been since the beginning of time.

So I see 60.98 here. Plus whatever tax is aplicable.

The price hasn't gone up since February anyway.

See ya

I own a Dish 6000 with both modules. I will call Dish and ask them why the price went up.

Did you sign up through Costco's program? One of their digital home plans (which I'm on) had a rate freeze until May, 2003. Gee, that's this month.

I dont think any of the packages went up $2.98 though. Maybe it was an error Dish had. I have seen Dish give credit for programming or give free channels by accident and make other errors before.

I know that the Digital Dynamite subscribers lose their price protections in June.......... Well, it was nice going three years without a price increase......

Perhaps you were price protected through two price increase terms leading it to be $2.98 increase when you got to the up to date pricing. There was a $1 increase and $2 increase in two price increase terms.
