I have an HD DVR in my living room and a standard dvr in my bedroom. I want to move the HD DVR into my bedroom. What I need to know is if the wires I have in the bedroom are enough to hookup up the HD in the bedroom or does the HD require an install to run additional lines? In other words do the the 2 dvrs use the same cable hookups?
Thanks for any help or advice.

The SAT lines are fine.
Do you only have the two DVR's or do you have other receivers?
Do you have a multi-switch or are all the SAT lines ran directly from the dish to the DVR's?

In most cases, moving the receiver should be no problem, but it is possible that there is a non-HD-capable multiswitch feeding the lines in the bedroom. If that's the case, then you'll be missing the HD channels there.
If you only have the 2 receivers, you're very unlikely to have that problem; generally, all 4 lines will go straight to the dish, meaning they are all HD capable. Make sure you move the BBCs along with the HD receiver.
