New Locals/Multi-Sat Deals

Does D* offer a free or discounted multi-sat dish and installation when they offer locals in a new area? I am in an area that is supposed to be offered locals off the 119(?) bird "by the end of the year." Same as movers program, perhaps - free if you commit to a year of Total Choice Plus with Locals?

Are there any previously existing D* customers sign up for new locals on the 119 who can relay what was offered to you?

Now if I can just get Verizon to run DSL to my house at their new lower rate, I will be able to get rid of TW.

In the Hartford area, we were offered a new triple LNB dish and a new multisatellite reciever installed for $49 if we committed to a year of Total Choice. The locals have been up there for Hartford for almost a year I believe but we only recieved any word of an offer this past month. However, some friends of mine in the area have said that if you call DTV and tell them you want to get the locals they'll give you the same offer. Perhaps we could have recieved it earlier.

Same here in wisconsin . I got the $49 deal for loacals when Green Bay comes on .

In Tucson AZ, I got the multi sat dish installed for zippo, $00.. Just
had to agree to subscribe for a year.. I know some others that
got the dish and new receivers for free.

I hope that Dish has a deal for those that will have to have the SuperDish to receiver their locals. If they want to charge more then some may switch to Direct instead or not get the customers in the first place if they want a lot or any more than what they want for the Direct oval dish.
