UTV?

I heard UTV is going to be added in the south Asian package ? Have not heard when it is going to happen and certainly not able to locate any advertisement surrounding it...Anyone else has any update?

I did get a flyer in the mail saying this was going to happen late January for free in Hindidirect. In the same flyer it also mentioned the inclusion of the Aastha channel for free in HindiDirect

Here is a DirecTV PR in regards to UTV,dated 12/10/08.

The PR states that the channel will be available in "early 2009",in the
HindiDirect I and HindiDirect II programming packages.

i just talked to direct tv cs ..(called southasian phone# (not from home number)) and press as a new custo and they told me that utv movies will start on march 3009 and there three more channels...pt..punjabi(something like) ,nd tv good times and ndtv profit will start same time also.......

nd tv good times and nd tv profit....not a great channels...as directv has enough news channnels....cs rep told me that direct tv will not bring any channel similar to star plus......so we got answer why ndtv imagine did not come on direct tv...
