All shows lost on Esata! [Archive]

Anyone experience the following:

Using esata drive for the last year (1gb cavalry) with no problems except guide slowness. Turned off esata and reset to see show on original drive. When switched back, all shows were gone on esata and drive showing 100% free. Did 2 resets and nothing. All my shows gone? Any tricks to try to get them back?

I had an issue the other night after a reboot. Here is what I did to get it back.

Unplugged DVR and unplugged the eSata drive.

reseated all the esata cables.

plugged in the esata drive. Waited about 15 seconds.

Plugged in the DVR.

Booted up and worked fine.

Hopefully it works for you.
