Perhaps a majority of people already are aware of and use this feature, but I've seen a few posts that indicate some don't know about it:

With your cursor on the current time for a channel in the Guide, hit Left Arrow to highlight the channel number. Then hit the Info button. A table will be populated showing all upcoming shows for that channel. Highlighting the show yields a short description of content. Hitting Info again, while a showing is highlighted gives more detail. Hitting Left Arrow at this point, rebuilds the table. You can navigate 5 shows at a time by using channel up/down. If you have shows already selected to record, they will show up with the "record icon"

This is a great feature that appears to be under-utilized.

This feature sort of subsumes the single channel guide (Blue Button), but since it lists in a tabular format, you can see a lot more info on one screen and can move through "time", in a more efficient manner.

I've used this feature regularly since the early days of the HR20-700, and sometimes things that all become new all over again.:)

yea but again i wish it would be more than just only 5 upcoming shows on the screen at a time....& really its essentially only 4 because the last show is repeated again as the 1st show on the next page as u page thru.

if a channel has alot of half hour shows it takes awhile to page thru even just 1 week.

never noticed the feature before now but will have to look at it a little more.

I agree it could be better but I use this feature A LOT! It's very handy when searching for movies to record.

Presactly, Stuart! That is what I use it for most of the time. For example, I like many of the movies on MGM-HD, so I use this feature to preview and select two weeks of movies at a time.

Not to hijack this thread, but also handy is a KEYWORD SEARCH, which can be saved and re-run often.

E.g.:

movie comedy CCHAN 501 finds all comedies on HBOHD, and

movie premiere HDTV CCHAN 501 552 will find all HD movies premiering on any of the premium movie channels.

This is a neat feature but I like the mini guide better. I dont record much without actually doing a search for the show but maybe I'll give this a shot and see how easy it is doing it this way.

this is something I always forget about, and when I do remember it is very useful.

I use the feature to see what movies are coming up on TCM -- especially useful during Oscar month.
