Can Directv PLEASE enable the ability to scan channels in the DTV tuners? In my area, we have several stations changing physical channel numbers BEFORE June 12 (KOAM Joplin goes from 13 to 7 and KOLR goes from 52 to 10) plus the addition of KFJX on 13 and KWBM on 31.

How does Directv plan to handle this situation, update the file and force a reload of the market? or *gasp* letting us scan channels?

Once your local channel submits guide data using their new channel number the channel will show up on your HR20.

If they are ending analog Feb 17 and are on a temp digital channel now, I think from what I have read, their digital signal has to remain on the temporary channel until June 12. So they could turn off analog on 7, but their digital signal would have to remain on 13 until June.

Like KOLR is switching on 3/2 from 52 to 10. (If the pre-transition # is on a channel that has been deleted or re-allocated they can move early)

www.koamtv.com confirms they're moving to digital 7 on Tuesday.

KFJX will start broadcasting on 13 on Tuesday per their website: www.fox14tv.com (they're keeping analog 14 going for the moment, though)
