Got a note from DirecTV. They added a Parental Ratings feature this week to their online program guide at http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/epg/theGuide.jsp
Click on a PPV or TV Show title in the guide and when it opens up the last tab on the right "Parental Controls" opens with an age appropriate rating and write-up for the content of that show. They are getting this as syndicated content so it may not be there for all shows, but most shows.
