So, now that the Fall TV schedules (http://tv.zap2it.com/shows/features/features.html?31550) have been announced, what shows will you be watching or PVRing this fall?

For me:

CSI: Miami - Removed from PVR in January because of conflict with Adult Swim.
Buffy, The Vampire Slayer - Series concluded.
Enterprise - Unless this series makes a drastic improvement next week, it will be disappearing from the recording list.
Angel - Definately on my "to watch list"
Survivor: Panama - What twists are left in this show? I'll probably record.
CSI - Defimate must watch.
Dragnet/LA Dragnet - I'm still willing to give this show a try. However, it's on a Saturday night timeslot... not good.

CSI, L&O, L&O:SVU, L&O:CI, WWE Raw, WWE Smackdown!, CSI Miami, The Simpsons, Without a Trace, 24, Everwood, 60 Minutes, 60 minutes II, The Daily Show, Malcolm in the Middle, South Park, King of the Hill, Dateline, ER, America's Most Wanted, Cops (Fox Sat. night only) - all renewed, Season Passes remain in place

John Doe, The Twilight Zone, Futurama (on Fox), Andy Richter Controls the Universe - all cancelled, all deleted :(

Cold Case - to be added soon. This is the only new show that interests me. Boy, network TV really sucks next season.

Fox will be showing the rest of the unaired episodes of Futurama this summer. I think there are ten of them.

Got a link in which Fox issued a statement promising this ? Even if they did, their shabby treatment of the show over its entire history leaves me doubting they will actually show the episodes :(

Nope, just hearsay from numerous people on tivocommunity. They said Fox would start airing the last ten eps on Sunday, June 1.

Another series I like goes RIP :( I guess my PVR schedule for next fall will be almost the same, sans TZ.

CSI
CSI:Miami
LA Dragnet
NYPD Blue
Third Watch
South Park

I'd like to ask all of you your opinions on Law & Order. I would like start getting into Law & Order, I used to watch the orginal a long time ago. Currently, which series is better in your opinion and what are the primary differences? Thanks

Steve Law and Order SVU is faster paced than the original...usually less
court room scenes and more action, in my opinion.

Reading your Link found we only lost only ONE show! Well “FOX really sucks!” Go to any of the Discussion Groups on programming On-Line and you will see this phrase numerous times. Why, because of all the Networks they are the only one not offering ANY High-Definition Programming! Even PBS now has it. Wife and I saw every episode of John Doe, but never have found anyone else that even knew of it! It may have been on a bad day or time for everyone else. We are blessed with a RCA UTV PVR (like TIVO) that records two shows @ once and remembers to record any new ones every time it’s shown. We skip the commercials and don’t watch much live TV (except HDTV). John Doe was a good interesting and entertaining show. It was funny because of wit. You wanted to listen to each line so not to miss anything (we sometime ran it back to catch something missed). Any fans of the Law & Order shows would understand this. And let’s face it, the show was COOL! Something FOX is not. Will miss it.

The agency was a fav, but they never fully developed the characters and, frankly, most of the ensemble was hard to warm up to.

I liked the early episodes of John Doe, but wound up watching another show in the same time slot. Too bad.

I only lost The Agency and Dawson's Creek. Everything else that I like got renewed (L&O, SVU, NY Blue, ER, it's a long, long list).

Too bad Black Sash didn't make the cut; that show could have developed into something really good. But those brainiacs at the WB just had to put it up against Criminal Intent, grrr.
