I have a HR20 as my main receiver, I get all my HD channels great, including the MPEG4 channels and the old 70-79 HD lineup. I've been using my old HR-250 HD DVR i the bedroom, and it was working fine, got the 70-79 HD channels but obviously not the new MPEG4 HD's. So I just bought a H21 Receiver so I can get all the HD channels in the bedroom. Here's my problems:

I am using the B-Band converter on that line
At first, the satellite setup only gave me 4 options for satellites, then after using the 3 LNB setup, my box did an update and i received a 5th option for a Slimline 3 LNB.
My main receiver list the satellite as Slimline 5 LNB, which is what I have, but that option doesnt appear on my new H21.
My Slimline dish has 4 cables running from it to Zinwell WB68 Multiswitch, then I have 2 going to my main box, and now 1 is running to my new H21.

What do I need to do to get the right satellite options and get all my HD channels working? Thanks!

Which options does it give you. 5LNB option is in there by default and no software update or any action can remove it.

It should. What are the 5 options it is giving you?

I get:

Round
Oval, 2 LNB
Oval, 3 LNB (only one I can get to work at all)
Slimline 3 LNBS
5 LNB, Multi Sat

The main receiver says its setup using "Slimline5"

When I try to use the 5 LNB, Multi Sat setup it just goes to the signal strength page and pretty much freezes up, no information shows at all, including the satellite its testing, it shows no numbers...

Well, ok, its fixed...I was trying the options to tell you what happned, and the 5 LNB option froze like I explained, I couldnt get the box to do anything so I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and it retrieved the Sat signal and viola, I get all HD channels now...how in the world did that fix itself?? It list 5 LNB (not slimline) as my satellite setup in the setup menu...o well! Thanks guys for your help anyways!

The H series receivers are currently using slightly different software from the HR boxes. The ui looks very similar but there are some areas like this and the sat signal pages among others where there are differences. On the sat signal pages you'll see 99 and 103 a/b instead of c/s.
