I have a recurring timer set up to record new episodes of Poker After Dark, which is on NBC from 2:05am to 3:05am. Just this week, the timer hasn't been recording the entire episode. Episode 1 was only 9minutes long, #2 was 42min, #3 was the full hour, and #4 was 44minutes.
Any idea what could be causing this?
What's even more strange is the recorded show lists the actual duration in the My Recordings (44min) but when you start watching the show, it shows Time Left in the upper right corner as 1:00. If you fast forward, it starts at the full 1:00 mark but the recording abruptly ends once it goes down to 16:00 left. One the short episodes appears to have started on time but cut off the end of the episode. Another one started late and ended at the normal time.
I'm wondering if the middle of the night time has anything to do with it. Like something keeps downloading at that time and is interrupting the recording? But it's never done it before. I'm going to delete my timer and redo it and see how tonight's episode goes.
