What are the new prices for DTV

What are the new prices for TC and TCplus and other DTV packages?

For right now all I know is that they are separating the premium channels from the basic packages. There was supposed to be a press conference about the details of the price changes at the CES but I'm not able to find any official information. Will continue to work on it and get you an answer.

Total Choice plus is coming on 2/1 to D* - $35.99
TC+ contains everything in the Family Pak +
Discovery Home & Leisure
Discovery Wings
5 new Music Choice channels, Body&Soul, Kids Only, Rock Hits, Classic R&B & Showcase II
TC w/locals - $37.99 TC+ w/locals - $39.99

Total Choice Premier - $81.99 (TC Platimum + Family Pak + new channels above. w/locals - $85.99

New premium tiers:

$12 - 1 premium
$22 - 2 premiums
$31 - 3 premiums
$39 - 4 premiums
$46 - 5 premiums

The 5 premium tiers will be HBO, Cinemax, Showtime Unlimited, Starz/Encore superpak & sports regionals.

Current customers: Some will see a reduction. Some will see more channels at no additional cost. Customers who would pay more under the new packaging structure will be grandfathered at their current rate.

So current Dtv subs who have tc and family pack will see a $1.00 reduction? Plus 7 channels added and the 2 religious one's that were just added...WOW!!!

Thats the gist of it.

DirecTV has really turned itself around over the past few months.
