Sony s 301

I have a Sony s301 I upgrade the firmware to 4.50 which was to add Dolby true hd but when I play a DVD with Dolby true hd I get Dolby ex I have gone thought all of the settings but still can not get to work. Sony told me Dolby ex was true hd so there no help. Is there some thing I missed.

Check your Blu-ray audio settings. I had the Sony 300 with 4.50. All of the forums I checked said to set the blu-ray player to "PCM". Your player should decode it, then send it via PCM to your receiver.
